I bought this system with every intention of purchasing the guitar hero game. I bought the Dance Dance Revolution game first though and now I can’t stop myself! The system was extremely easy to install and the controller is easy to use. The few games already installed on the system are basic to use and I love it. I’m addicted to the Revolution game and I’m ready to purchase the other Wii system games (i.e. Wii Fit and Guitar Hero World Tour)! I’m ready to get another controller and dance pad too! Bring it on!! I love this system…so awesome.

A wonderful, Must Read Book, an insight into a lost era. The Author is a master of the written work. The end is a tear jerk er and the story is a mover. Best of reading.

I found this case to be well designed. It does take a little thought before figuring out how it opens, but it definitely works well.
I would also note that I scratched the screen shield during my first week of use, and that Otter replaced it within a few days of being made aware of my problem.

I got my kindle about a week ago, and I absolutely love it!!! I’m already about half-way though my 2nd book.. I love the fact that I have instant access to nearly any book I want and at discounted prices!! It’s sleek and smooth design is very comfortable to hold. I actually prefer it to reading from a paperback book. I researched various e-book readers and felt the Kindle was the best one for me. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

I really enjoyed this book. As a northerner now living in the South, I appreciate the perspective of the ‘Whites’ and ‘Blacks’ in the story. I understand a little better where the southern whites, as portrayed in the book, were/are coming from, although I have trouble empathsizing with them. And I applaud the bravery of the African-American women, albeit fictional, in the story who bucked the system, at the peril of their lives.

I highly recommend this book.

I had a hard time putting this book down, not because it was action packed or particularly fast paced, but because the development, sincerity and engaging voice of the main character at both stages of his life was refreshingly flawless. The voice remains true and believable throughout the entire narrative and is well developed giving me a clear picture of who Jacob Jankowski is and why I should care. Because this is achieved, I am fully invested in his world and experiences. Like wise, the supporting characters are dynamic and interesting, but even given their deformities, whether physical or psychologically, they never over shadow the main character.

The book provokes thoughts on treatment and intelligence of animals, economy, marriage, class, race, healthcare, friendship and family. As well as, it forces us to take a hard look at how our culture deals with the elderly.

“Sometimes the monotony of bingo and sing-alongs and ancient dusty people parked in the hallway in wheelchairs makes me long for death. Particularly when I remember that I’m one of the ancient dusty people, filed away like some worthless tchotchke.”

If I had to give a ‘con’ to the book, it would be toward the ending when the author simplifies Jacob’s journey with a ‘run away with the circus’ solution. However, this does not disappoint and in a way is the logical path and most appropriate ending given the character’s circumstances and alternative. It is the happiest it can get.

When I bought my iPhone back in August, I wanted a sturdy case to protect my investment. The salesgirl showed me the Otterbox, and I immediately liked the rugged look and feel of this case.

One rainy day within a week of my purchase, I was getting into my car when the seat belt stripped my phone from its holder, dropping it onto the parking lot and directly into a deep puddle! (BTW, iPhones don’t float!)

Even with the minor fit problems for some of the various plug covers, only one drop of water got into the case. I was able to remove the phone from its case and dry it off with no damage *whatsoever*.

As for the “film” problem mentioned by other reviewers, I have a touch-screen protector applied to my phone, and I have never had any issue like they mention.

If I had anything negative to say about the Otterbox, it would be that some third-party cables won’t fit through the connector port – but that’s not even their fault – it’s the fault of the third-party cable vendor with a non-OEM plug shape!

The Otterbox was the greatest investment. I am extremely careful with my possessions, but yet I dropped my iPhone once on concrete with the OtterBox attached with no damage whatsoever. It’s so worth it!
