What an over hyped piece of crap. I was supposed to have read this in high school but faked my way through it. Now I feel duped for wasting my time on it. The emperor has no clothes and this book sucks.
2n1 Hard Shell Case

It’s hard to believe that more than 1000 people have given primarily glowing reviews to this scale. Yes, it works, yes, it looks nice. It may even be accurate (I’m not sure) but it couldn’t be more of a pain to use. And who wants a scale that’s hard to use?? Just look at all the reviews that give hints about how to make it work (since it doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to) — drop tennis balls on it, hit it hard with the heel of your foot, lift the front up with your toes, etc etc. I stupidly thought I’d be able to make it work and I went ahead and bought it.

Now, if you keep your scale in one place all the time, maybe it works fine but if you keep your scale in the cupboard and take it out to weigh yourself, DO NOT BUY THIS SCALE. Everytime you take it out of the cupboard, you’ll get a weight reading of something like 4.6 pounds. Even the directions acknowledge this. You have to wait 1-2 minutes for that weight to clear. Then, hit the scale with tennis balls or lift it with the front of your foot or whatever and it will show 0 and THEN you can weigh yourself. I don’t have that kind of time.

I gave it 2 stars because it’s easy to read the numbers and it is attractive But I’m sending it back.

Oh, by the way, it’s very heavy.
4n1 Hard Shell Case

This is the first pedometer I’ve bought, so my frame of reference is admittedly slim. That being said, I’m quite pleased with this purchase. It performs as described, the clip is strong enough that it doesn’t pop off if you’re moving quickly, and I really like the modal features.
My one gripe (and it’s more of a wish) is this: the unit saves your “step” information for 7 days. Which is great. I do wish, however, that it would save all other information for 7 days as well (aerobic steps, calories burned, miles walked).
Overall, though, I am pleased with this purchase.
