See FIVE OUTLET POWER STRIP now
I was trying to save a few bucks in this purchase, but I may have “shot myself in the foot”. I viewed all photo and video fine through the camera but when put the feed into a TV (USB input), photos began to corrupt. When downloading photos and video to my PC (Windows 7) some of the pictures are now showing that they are not accessible. This was the first time I used this camera. I have no idea if the corrupt files are the fault of the Transcend card of something the camera did in reading the files.

I’ve been using MS Office 2010 Beta since it became available earlier this year and really like it. I purchased the MS Office 2007 version because it was being offered at a lower price than normal and purchase included a free upgrade to MS Office 2010 when it becomes available. As of today (06/26/10) the offer is still valid and it is a good deal. Also, the 2010 version is available for download NOW. I have downloaded and installed the 2010 upgrade – it is a no hassle deal and installs clean – no problems. My advice: Buy the 2007 version at a discounted price and upgrade to 2010 for free. Amazon’s free shipping makes the deal even better.
I gave the 2007 version 3 of 5 stars because I only bought it to get the discounted price and the included free upgrade to 2010. The 2010 version is better and has more features.
Be advised: this version of Microsoft Office does not include Outlook – you must purchase Outlook separately. It’s still a great buy because Outlook is discount priced as well and you are not buying a lot of extra suite components that you will probably never use.

I really liked this book, and I’m not quite sure why. The Catcher in the Rye is a novel narrated from the point of view of an angst-ridden 16-year-old that doesn’t have that great a vocabulary, is almost always depressed, whines about seemingly trivial things, and hates nearly everybody he meets (Except nuns and children). And it’s not as annoying as it sounds. Salinger was an immensely talented writer, and it’s a shame that he didn’t publish more.

500mW GSKY Power High about
The GSky dramatically increases the speed of my connection to a Wireless-G router at the opposite end of the house, and as for range it picks up other routers several blocks away. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is that the driver on the included software disc makes you deal with Vista security every time you want to use it. Realtek’s RTL8187 driver solves this problem, but locating the driver online is something of a chore. It’s a one-time-only chore, though.

There are many network books out there — this is the only one that focuses on networks inside business organizations. Being a management consultant who has applied Social Network Analysis to organizational issues since 1987 this book mostly fits my experience.
This book is an excellent introduction for the internal or external consultant considering their first social network analysis project. Cross & Parker provide many examples, and discuss both network mapping and measuring. They focus on the network methods and metrics that are understandable by common business people — no PhD required, an MBA will do fine.
Coming from a research organization, the authors don’t always go into great deatil on how to apply network analysis in solving business problems. A couple of stories of before/after networks are shared. Yet, how they apply interventions and solutions is often glossed over. The last few chapters delve into this with more detail, but it may be too late in the book for some readers. Several of the the network examples could have used more details to provide the reader a better context of what was happening in the organization.
The Appendix is great — how to get started in a social network analysis project. This section alone may be worth the price of the book for many hands-on consultants.
As business schools start to teach social network analysis, this book will make an excellent textbook for both undergraduate and MBA students.

I was under the impression I was to receive a full version of Office Prof 2000 instead I got a key number that has to be used with a new computer that is not over 90 days old. I have an old Windows vista that had the trial verson but the computer was purchased at Sam’s as the display so it was over 90 days old. I spent right at 200 dollars on a key number I can not use. I have emailed the company and I have not gotten a response as yet 5 weeks now. My husband bought a laptop 6 months ago but never tried to use the office and I tried to use the key on it with no luck so I guess I am out 200 dollars that sucks. The company needs to say it is for OEM (new computers) before they sell it to people that do not know what OEM means.

I live in an area where your car will definitely be broken into if there are suction cup marks from a GPS on your windshield or dash, so I purchased this to avoid having to constantly wipe things down. I saw this product, and though I was a little unsure of how well it would work, I gave it a try. I’ve been nothing but happy with this.
- Does not budge, even when I place it where my dashboard is sloped
- Didn’t even move when I was rear-ended in traffic!
- The ability to readjust position instantly while drive it perfect, I can have it where it works for me to look at while driving, but I can ask my passenger to look something out and they just slide it to their side of the vehicle and then put it back when they are done
- No rings to clean up like I would have had from a suction mount
- No velcro or glue marks like a permanent mount, but just as sturdy
- A little bulky, but I just turn it upside down and slide it under my seat when I get out of the vehicle and that works fine (if you have a decent sized glove box or center console that’s not already full it would fit there too if you just unclick the piece from each other
Would buy again!
