Aside from providing this awesome device, Amazon provided awesome customer service to go with it! Our Kindle was purchased in December of 2009, and we experienced problems with the screen recently in October 2010–almost a year later!!-
After troubleshooting over the phone with tech support, it was determined that the Kindle was no longer usable. We were told that a new replacement would arrive the next day via overnight delivery.

We were truly amazed at the professionalism and handling of our situation.

Amazon rocks!

Having read _Real Freedom for All_, in which the author outlines his UBI proposal in detail, I purchased this volume in the hope of finding insightful commentary and sound criticism. Much to my chagrin, I was disappointed. While Edmund Phelps and Emma Rothschild had insightful essays, I didn’t find very much in the way of dissent. Phelps certainly did disagree, but many of the others were just wailing like nettlesome grandmothers while conceding Van Parijs’ point. Galston’s essay left much to be desired, predictably enough. Couldn’t they have asked a thoughtful critique on the Right? But again, this is certainly not awful. My favorite Boston Review forum remains Martha Nussbaum’s _For Love of Country_, which did have a broad range of dissenting voices and is definitely worth checking out. If you are strictly interested in UBI or distributive justice, turn to _RFA_.
What s Wrong with

I bought this book thinking it would be of great help to me. I found it to be absolutely useless. There are so many other valuable tools to use and informative books out there that I can only say – use your common sense – you know what you can and can’t have & all you have to do is ask the server to check in the kitchen to make sure that thee either isn’t, or won’t be, any gluten ingredients used. I live very near NYC and I can name so many gluten free restaurants that weren’t included that it’s ridiculous. Don’t waste your money.

I would never have considered buying this, but it was gift from my kids. I opened up the box, scanned the manual, and then went for a test ride. WOW! I came home, plugged in the USB cable and up popped my ride, map and stats beyond any expectations. It is hard to imagine any possible improvement for ease of use. I am not a serious rider so many of the features are not important to me, but the map that relates to time and distance alone is worth the price of the unit. The tracking is unbelievable! I have already recommended this several of my friends.

Tired of seeing HDMI cables selling for $12 and up at retail stores, I went to Amazon and found this cable. I figured for $2.50 including shipping how could I lose? Wow – they were shipped quickly, and they work just fine. I am so glad I did not spend the inflated prices at the store. I think the stores discount the TV’s and then rip you on things like cables and mounts. At least I felt like I won one with this cable!

The interpretation of the story just seemed a little flat. Jokes and insight and the whole story itself didn’t seem, to me, to transfer very well from the book to the screen. However, I remember when reading this one, I wasn’t too excited about it, either. I got this one and “Wyrd Sisters” for Xmas; I recommend the latter if you are looking for good Pratchett on American available video.Story: Death is trying to forget. So he joins the foreign legion and gets wasted. Susan, his granddaughter takes over and falls for an “Elfish” dude. Rock and Roll comes to Ankh-Morpork… The Death scenes are good; other than that, I’d skip it.

After I heard from many friends that this book was a “must read”, I finally purchased it and completed reading it within two weeks. It’s hard to believe that this is Kathryn Stockett’s first novel. I loved how the story was told through three individual voices. I enjoyed laughing out loud at Minny’s exploits. It would be nice to see a sequel novel with a follow-up on the main characters, or one specifically about Miss Celia’s life. I’d like to read the book mentioned in the acknowledgements, “Telling Memories Among Southern Women” by Susan Tucker, to read about actual relationships between employers and domestic help from that time period. I can’t wait to see if this novel is made into a movie, as I think it will.
