I had seen the book in the bookstore but decided not to buy it until I found a copy for $ .50. I loved it. I have read it and listened to it on CD now several times and still find myself laughing out loud. The characters are likeable and complex, the plot is smooth but keeps you on your toes. The technology that he has developed is amazing and very cool. Even more, the technology is based on environmentally sound ideas that are subtle but do make you think. I read my first copy until it fell apart and then bought a hard back (I hardly ever buy hard back.) I have bought this book several times as a gift and even had my mother read it. FANTASTIC BOOK!

Probably one of the best purchases I have ever made. I am a college student and honestly up until purchasing my kindle, haven’t really read much. Now I can’t put this thing down! I read anything and everything! The ability to purchase college textbooks is an amazing feature as well. I have never been more happy to own a product, and use it everywhere! I just drove from Buena Vista, CO to Indianapolis, IN and plugged in the kindle and had it read to me the entire way back. What a fantastic way to travel. I am a big Apple fan, but there is no way I would choose reading on the iPod, iPhone, or iPad over this!
The Kindle2 is the best e-Reader there is! Whispernet allows for downloads everywhere and anywhere over Sprint’s 3G network, unlike many readers that require a WiFi signal.
This is top of the line, and there should be no hesitation in purchasing a Kindle
