You know about Folklore and Superstition

Black Stone Cherry is a great find for those who are not fans of Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park, & others in the Nu Metal genre. They have more of a Classic Rock & Roll feel. This is a great band to just sit back and turn up the dial. As for Folklore & Superstition the songs are paced well, have enjoyable themes & lyrics, the band just knows how to get it done. Here is a breakdown:

1. Blind Man 9/10…not the best on the album, but solid

2. Please Come In 9/10…not great but solid

3. Reverend Wrinkle 8.5/10…a bit of a step down from the other two but still good

4. Soulcreek 9.5/10…love this song

5. Things My Father Said 8/10…good but nothing special

6. The Bitter End 10/10…one of the best

7. Long Sleeves 9/10…

8. Peace is Free 10/10…I like it, a bit slower than usual though

9. Devil’s Queen 11/10…Needs to be on the Radio!!!

10. The Key 11/10…Again could use some airplay!!!

11. You 9/10…real good

12. Sunrise 8/10…solid

13. Ghost of Floyd Collins 10/10…NICE!

Overall the CD is about a 4.8 so its gets round up to 5!
